AIO about double texting

i sent a message to someone i’m interested in asking if he’s free on Saturday. i didn’t hear a response back and it’s been over a day (i sent my message yesterday at 3). should i double text tomorrow and follow up? what should i say?

i’m overthinking and wondering why he didn’t respond yet especially because he asked me for my number first and that he’d like to hang out with me.
