Adventures in wargaming 2: that time I got kicked out
The lead up: I was playing a 1500 point army of militarium against deathwatch and after a long game he finally took down my hellhammer (baneblade mid range heavy hitter variant), he jumped up in victory and exclaimed I finally took that asshole down, I smiled its true I do not win all of the time, and a little victory celebration will not upset me.
On our next game it was a rematch and this time I held back my big guns using my squads as shields and I was moderately winning, this time it came down to my forward column and his beaten up freeblade, it was yarrucks time to shine and he did, yarricks claw took his last wound and slaughtered the knight. I jumped up and said Yarrick crushed that bastard (Whats good for the goose is goid for the gander right?). He was not happy then got all butt hurt and kicked me out, I didn't even argue I grabbed my stuff and left before I left shook my head & laughed at him.
It was time for that to end, he wasn't even my friend he was the roommate of my true friend that left a month earlier, I played cause I was bored and I let him win enough to keep me saited. Normally I never celebrate victories as I know its painful to put so much effort into a game and not win, it can be soul crushing, but I made 1 exception that 1 time.
