Thyroid enlarged and antibodies super high
I went to my endocrinologist yesterday and he said my thyroid definitely feels enlarged and my last test shows my tpo antibodies over 6000, up from over 5000 last year. He ordered celiac disease testing to placate me but said there's nothing to really control this issue.
For reference, I've had Hashimotos since I was 21 (I'm 34 now) and I've been on Synthroid/Levothyroxine since. My tsh, t3 and t4 look okay and decently in range.
My throat is always sore from the enlarged thyroid, I am dealing with other health issues as well which I wonder could be due to the inflammation.... or are these antibody numbers and enlarged thyroid completely irrelevant?
