Best way to get into making music digitally with very minimal musical experience/understanding

I have been interested in making music for a while but I have no idea where to start. I had very minimal musical experience (I took piano lessons when I was in elementary school but my teacher had dementia so he just taught me the same songs over and over again and I never practiced.) I love electronic and experimental music and would love to try to create something. I know it’s difficult and I have no idea where to start. Is FL studio or ableton better or should I just start with GarageBand? I know someone really good at making music who started on fl studio and got really good in just a few years. I don’t even know where to begin with learning and would love some help. I am also not particularly tech savvy, like I can proficiently use a computer but that’s about it I’m not sure if that’s important.
