Do you guys really think Clark is a narcissist or is dealing with severe self esteem issues?

I feel like when you look at his behavior and his constant need for validation it could be because of severe self esteem issues. Also when Mary yells at him I don’t think a narcissist would just back down and apologize. I dunno, just curious what you guys think.
