alternate routes/options for adjuster career

Im planning on taking the adjusters pro course to become a claims adjuster soon. I see a lot of people saying to not get into it. 

What route would u recommend in order to avoid the undesirable work life that I see a lot of  people post about. Something similar to adjusting? A specific type of adjusting etc ?
