AITA for telling my bestfriend she's male-centered
My (22F) bestfriend (22F) and I have known each other since we were in highschool. We've always had so much fun together, but recently all of our conversations have started revolving around men.
We both grew up conventionally unattractive, but we eventually started growing into our looks at the start of university. As a result, we've started dating and partying around. It was exciting at first, but now it's all she talks about. It's always about who she's currently seeing, who she wants to hook up with, who is snapping her, who is in her likes, etc. I don't have a problem talking about men, but I miss talking about other things too. Whenever the topic doesn't revolve around men, she always finds a way to circle it back. She's never invested when we talk about other matters in our lives. When we hang out, she's always on snapchat talking to one of them. My breaking point was when she ditched me at a college party to hook up with some guy and I had no way of getting home.
I got sick of everything and I just told her she was male-centered. She denied it and said she was just having fun with them. She's started pulling away from me since then. We're still friends, but I can tell what I said upset her. She's my bestfriend and I'll always care about her, but this situation is just really difficult for me. I keep wondering if I should have gone about it differently or AITA?
