9mm can on .300Blk?

More of a curiosity than anything, but has anyone ever ran a 9mm can on a 300 blackout build? Do you sacrifice a ton of sound mitigation vs a .30cal can or is it fairly negligible? I know it probably depends a lot on the make of the can but if anyone could give somewhat of a general answer it would be much appreciated!
