New to America and can't find friends

Hello guys, I've faced a terrible problem when I came to US 3 months ago, I can't find any friends in here.

Objectively I am very handsome, and I'm not exaggerating. I'm Central Asian, not lazy, fit and 6ft tall. Have lots of hobbies and interests. Speak more or less proper English, and 3 more languages.

I've been trying to get any friends or just people to talk to in here, but no matter what I try, it seems like Americans prefer short term friends/relationships over deep and long ones.

In my country, we call friends those people with whom you can hangout, share interests and have been through adventures. Here I've met many people who were extremely polite and nice at first sight, but later on no one seemed to be interested in keeping connection or being friendly, they just disappeared.

I also have tried Tinder for a short period, but everyone there seems to just wanna hookup. I thought maybe I'd find a girlfriend in there, but they all ignore after few texts OR want to get out somewhere to hookup.

Don't get me wrong, I pay attention to people's moods and boundaries, and I would never pressure on anyone. But I'm so tired of being alone, I want adventures, memories and fun.

So, if there are any Americans or those who live here, please tell me how do I get into "American" way of friendship? How can I get closer to you guys?
