Shower jellies - questions

I don't typically purchase the shower jellies but tonight tried one from a kitchen box from a few months back (forgot it was in the cupboard!).

Had a few questions to ask y'all:

Curious what's your preffered method of using them? and how long do you find they typically last? (I guess it would depend on size, but like in comparison to a bar soap for example).

Any thoughts on how to best store them?

Also - do you think they clean as effectively as a bar soap and/or shower gel? They seem to suds up, but was just curious as it's such a unique kind of cleaner lol!

I will say, the scent definitely lasts! I think maybe more-so than the soaps typically do.
