TL;DR: Logitech Support confirmed my Z906 had a 2-year warranty and directed me to the service center. I visited on 27 July, spent ₹600 on transport, and the claim still wasn't processed. After multiple escalations and repeated 48–72 hour waiting periods, they asked me for a video of the original box showing the 2-year warranty. 🤦‍♂️

After all this, I've stopped pursuing the warranty claim.

Genuine question: Are customers really expected to keep these huge product boxes stored at home for years just in case they need to claim warranty?

I want to share my recent experience with Logitech India regarding my Z906 warranty claim, because the entire process has been extremely frustrating.

My Logitech Z906 developed a subwoofer issue, so I contacted Logitech Support. During the support interaction, their team checked my product/serial number and confirmed that my Z906 was covered under a 2-year warranty. They then advised me to visit the authorized service center.

I followed their instructions and visited the authorized service center on 27 July, spending around ₹600 on transportation to take the product there.

However, the service center did not process my warranty claim.

I contacted Logitech Support again, and my case was escalated multiple times under Ticket #17579417. I was repeatedly told to wait 48–72 hours while the higher team reviewed the case.

Those timelines passed without a resolution.

I followed up again, and the case was escalated once more and even marked as priority. I was again told that I would receive an outcome within 48 hours.

Still no resolution.

After all these escalations and waiting periods, Logitech Support eventually asked me to provide a video of the original product box showing the 2-year warranty, along with my ticket number written on a piece of paper.

This is where I'm honestly exhausted.

I was sent to the service center based on Logitech Support's own confirmation that my product was covered under 2 years.

After multiple escalations and waiting periods, I'm now being asked for additional proof.

I've spent money on transportation, spent hours dealing with support, followed every instruction they gave me, and repeatedly waited through their promised timelines.

And I have one genuine question for Logitech and other customers:

If someone wants to claim warranty after 1–2 years, are customers really expected to keep those large original product boxes and packaging stored in their homes for years, just in case they need warranty support?

If retaining the original box is necessary, shouldn't that requirement be clearly communicated to customers at the time of purchase?

At this point, I've decided to stop pursuing the warranty claim.

I've used Logitech products before and have recommended them to friends. But after this experience, if I ever have to choose another Logitech product or recommend one to someone, Logitech will definitely be my second option rather than my first.

I'm not posting this just to bash the brand.

I genuinely want to know:

Has anyone else in India had a similar experience with Logitech warranty claims, especially with the Z906?
