M23 | India | Looking for someone I can genuinely connect with

M4F♂️

Hey, I’m 23, 6’1, and a Computer Science Engineer by education. I’m someone who has always felt a little out of place in the usual definition of what you’re “supposed” to enjoy or be interested in, so I’m giving this a shot.
I’m much more comfortable somewhere quiet, preferably outdoors, than in a crowded club. I don’t dislike clubbing or people who enjoy it, it’s just not really my thing.
I’m very into nature, trekking, birdwatching, solo travelling and exploring places without having everything planned out. Some of my favourite experiences have been the slightly chaotic ones: solo trips, long walks, hitchhiking, getting lost somewhere unfamiliar and figuring things out along the way.
I also enjoy journaling, especially travel journals. There’s something about writing down a place and an experience while it’s still fresh that I really like.
A few other things about me:
Computer Science Engineer
Into trekking, nature and outdoor adventures
Birdwatching enthusiast
Enjoy solo travel and solo treks
Journaling and documenting experiences
Interested in technology, psychology, history and learning random things
Into fitness and staying active
I enjoy photography/video and creating things
More of a meaningful-conversation person than a small-talk person
I value independence and having your own interests
I don’t really enjoy clubbing or nightlife
Probably more comfortable discussing an obscure historical event at 1 AM than making conversation at a party
I’m also fairly opinionated. I’m skeptical of a lot of religious beliefs and practices, and sometimes my views can come across as harsh. I’m not looking to convince anyone that I’m right, though. I just know that I’d be much happier with someone who can disagree with me without turning every difference into a personal battle.
That’s probably one of the main reasons I’m here.
I’m not looking for someone who is exactly like me. In fact, I’d probably find that boring. I want someone with her own interests, opinions and personality, but with enough overlap that we don’t constantly have to negotiate the basics of how we want to live.
Someone who enjoys being outdoors, exploring, learning, travelling, having long conversations, or simply doing something spontaneous on a random weekend would be a huge plus.
I’d rather have one genuinely interesting conversation than collect matches and exchange “hey, how are you?” until civilization collapses.
So, instead of a generic introduction, tell me:
What’s something you’ve experienced recently that made you think, “I want to do this again”?
Could be a trip, a trek, a book, a random conversation, a place, a hobby, anything.
Maybe we have something to talk about.
