Would asking one of the baristas from the Union Stbx be weird

For context, I've been taking a summer class and I always go to the starbucks in the union building and I have crush on one of the baristas there, I think she's super cute. She's always really nice which I get is just her doing her job, but she laughs at all my stupid jokes, and almost always when I get my drink, there's a drawing or note. Is she flirting with me or is this part of her job.

I also don't want to be a creep and ask her out when she's working but I don't know when else I'd get the chance to.
