Just wondering how this works

I was 18 and charged with under 28 grams of weed. Paid a 2000 dollar fine. It was the only charge. Only time I've been arrested. No jail time.

This was 15 years ago. I've done multiple criminal record checks for work as well as an RCMP check to get on the fire department here. And nothing ever shows up on my criminal record check. Wondering if the border guards will see anything on their end or if I should just keep quiet if they ask.
