SIB No More Room in Hell 2 - Worth it now?

Saw it released to 1.0 and people seem to like the updates. Is it worth the $20 right now? How is the community? This is for PC only.

I do enjoy zombie games and co-op pve, but the launch scared me from buying it initially. Really hoping to find a game to scare me some and have a great time!

I never played the first one or any mods, so no experience with this franchise. I love L4D games and RE games.
