So is the Opera not going to stop the war on extensions?

For half a year now, my extensions constantly break when i need them the most. And it feels like the browser itself starts blocking them, like for example there's this one extension i use to find music that plays in the current tab, i press on the pinned extension icon, it pauses for a second and the icon is gone. I go into the extensions tab and it's there but it's off. I'm like, okay, i'm going to turn it on. But the slider is grayed out and inactive. I go into the extension and it says something akin to "Opera suggests you review this extention". So i press keep, which should make it possible for me to turn it back on, right? Wrong! Now the slider is active, but every time i press the slider it immediately slides back to off! First it was just the adblockers (from Opera extensions catalogue) that kept breaking but i assumed it was youtube basically DOS-attacking the adblocks with millions of xhr requests (even though Opera kept flagging them as malicious LOL), so i was content, but music extention? Am i supposed to believe that an addon that i was using for more than five years is suddenly malicious and opera suggests me to review it and forcefully disables it for me just because it's not available in their extentions catalogue? Like, Opera is running on Chromium, so it has in-built support of Chrome extentions, why would Chrome extentions not be allowed on a Chromium-based browser? That to me makes no sense at all.
