*The Chinese drama title 雾里青 can be translated as “Mist-Veiled Green” or “Green in the Mist.”*

*The title likely plays on the female lead’s name, Chen Qingwu (陈清雾). While 雾 means “mist,” the homophony between 清 (qīng) and 青 (qīng) allows “雾里青” to echo her name while shifting 清 to 青, which carries different connotations (clarity/purity vs. youth/green/blue). Being “in the mist” could also reflect >!her uncertainty about her feelings and her journey to understand whom she truly loves.!<*

The production team announced that filming officially finished today, August 12, 2026. They also announced the rest of their cast members. Li Xian’s team released a new behind-the-scenes wrap up special featuring the character Meng Fuyuan.

The wrap up ceremony was held on August 9, 2026. Filming officially started on May 10, 2026.

Clip description:

(The ML is in tech.)

*Completing a period of time spent together, quietly awaiting the moment of reunion.*

*Becoming Meng Fuyuan – from this moment on.*

*Following the traces in “his” heart, touching the earliest outline of “him,” and opening the door to the story that belongs to “him.”*

*As day and night pass, stepping into Meng Fuyuan’s world.*

*Though “he” is clear-minded and self-possessed, and not good at openly revealing his feelings, he gives the people he cares about the most thoughtful and considerate protection. This tenderness is “him,” and it is also him, Li Xian. Beyond the camera, there were moments filled with thoughts, feelings, and discussions – how to become “him” better. Perhaps, through repeatedly looking inward and experiencing the character, he found the answer.*

*When the lights sink into the twilight, it is time for a temporary farewell.*

*Waving goodbye to “him” does not mean the end of the story.*

*Quietly awaiting the day when we can officially meet Meng Fuyuan.*

[Synopsis translated from Baidu Baike](https://baike.baidu.com/item/%E9%9B%BE%E9%87%8C%E9%9D%92/64936814):

The Chen and Meng families have long been close. Chen Qingwu, the Chen family’s only daughter, and Meng Qiran, the Meng family’s second son, grew up together as childhood companions. After repeated disappointments build up, she decides to leave and focus on developing her ceramics studio, starting a new chapter in her life. Note: The MDL synopsis is the novel summary. In the novel, the ML is a tech tycoon, and the FL is a ceramic artist. They have a 6-year age gap and the drama concludes with a (spoiler alert!) >!HE!<. [Source: Douban](https://m.douban.com/book/subject/37869741/)

[Synopsis from MDL](https://mydramalist.com/763437-wu-li-qing):

Chen Qing Wu believed that she would marry Meng Qi Ran in the future – both of them were childhood sweethearts and were very close.

⚠️ *Plot spoilers!* ⚠️

One Friday, Meng Qi Ran’s band performed, and Chen Qing Wu took a midnight flight to support him. Meng Qi Ran was drunk, and his brother Meng Fu Yuan went to pick him up. The eldest son of the Meng family was serious, reserved, and taciturn. Chen Qing Wu always felt that Meng Fu Yuan might hate her. >!That is, until Meng Fu Yuan went abroad on a business trip and brought her back a set of porcelain as a gift, carefully wrapped and transported thousands of miles unscathed. A ridiculous thought suddenly occurred to her: it can’t be that Meng Fu Yuan likes me, right?!<

>!Later, when the two families got together, Meng Qi Ran wanted to propose, but when he searched all over for Chen Qing Wu, he couldn’t find her. No one knew that in the study on the third floor, Meng Fu Yuan was kissing Chen Qing Wu’s ear, telling her with a deep voice to be quiet.!<

>!Meng Qi Ran was the turbulent wind when she was 16 years old, the butterfly she caught and released. Meng Fu Yuan was the silent abyss when she was 26 years old, and the snow that grew old together in her life.!<
