First day as a paraeducator tomorrow! What is the etiquette in the workplace

Just like the title says, tomorrow is my first day. I’m honestly kinda nervous, I’ve never worked with students before let alone kids (I’ve only babysat family before).

Any tips as a para? The principal mentioned I would mainly work with 6th graders. So that also makes me nervous because I’m sure the curriculum is different from when I was in 6th grade. Also just don’t remember what I learned in 6th grade lol

Also, what’s the etiquette for introductions? Am I introducing myself to teachers and staff by Ms. lastname or my first name. Do I refer to teachers and staff by their first or last name? Idk just want to be prepared.
