Just like fall,

you came out of nowhere

The type of weather that makes one feel cozy

I admired the different colors it brings

Red, yellows and greens

Although different in many ways

you were beautiful that cold day

Your breeze brings in unfamiliar feelings

Ones that haven't been brought in a while

Feelings that linger and make me smile

You've brightened up my atmosphere

That I look forward to seeing your name

Ive waited and waited, but youre playing games

Just like the air

Youve consumed me

Like a drug, youve doomed me

The fall greets me with open arms

Youre all talk and lure me with your charm

How could it be that I have fell

When you yourself are doing well

The moon calls out to the sun

Their light dimming out in the distance

Left far behind, no use to be in their existence

Like the hot and cold

Opposites attract

You'd think they'd be twins, with the way they act

One day youre nice, the next day youre bold

Like the fall you've made me feel cold

Since the night you came

Youre not the same

You tell me the opposite

But who am I to blame?

Dry leaves trickle down the road

Rustling in the wind and making a fuss

Now lays quiet, was there ever a rush?

All one can do is hope

Even if its just one poke

Let the tree know your taking your leave
