44[F4M] PNW - missing the fluttering butterflies - updated
I posted this last week and got a couple of leads that fizzled out pretty quickly… most responses were one liners or not similar in age… I’m giving it one more try and hoping to find someone open to opportunities 🤞

I’m not someone who loves the process of dating. In fact, I’m pretty terrible at it.
I’ve never been the kind of person who walks into a room and immediately catches everyone’s attention. I’m more likely to blend into the crowd until I connect with one person who genuinely sparks my interest. That’s where I feel most like myself.
It’s been a long time since I’ve been on a truly romantic date, and I miss that butterflies-in-your-stomach kind of excitement. Dinner and a show. Coffee followed by a long walk. Wandering through a farmers market before catching a movie. Time away from screens, sharing stories, laughing together, and being fully present. Those little moments where a brush of the hand can send electricity through you because there’s real chemistry.
I’m 44 and in a good place in my life. I own my home, have a career, wonderful friends, and hobbies that keep me engaged. I don’t have children, adore animals, and hope to build a dual income, no kids life with the right person.
I’m drawn to similar aged men who are deeply curious and passionate—people who can disappear for hours into the things they love, whether that’s creating, learning, building, exploring, or mastering a hobby. There’s something incredibly attractive about someone who has genuine enthusiasm for life.
I’m not expecting romance to appear overnight. I’d simply like to start with a meaningful conversation. If that conversation grows into laughter, anticipation, butterflies, and eventually something lasting, then that’s exactly the kind of story I’m in for.
If this resonates, please send me a thoughtful message.
🥂
