does unpausing ur profile on hinge make removed matches pop back up on ur feed???

So i paused my account awhile ago. unpaused it after and this man liked me, but he has liked me wayy before and i had “removed” him prior. The reason being “im not interested in this person”. And i am unsure as to how he saw me. I thought it would remove me from his stack permanently. Does unpausing your account reset your feed???
