[Hobby] Writer / Narrative Designer Looking to Join an Indie Game Team--Psych Horror / Fantasy
Hey! I'm a college student and fiction writer looking to join a small indie game team as a writer/narrative designer.
I mainly specialize in psychological horror and fantasy, with a focus on character writing, darker themes, mystery, worldbuilding, dialogue, lore, and environmental storytelling. I’m especially interested in RPG Maker-style games and narrative-heavy horror/RPG projects.
I’ve been writing for years and placed well in many state-wide competitions while I was still in highschool. I’m comfortable working collaboratively, taking feedback, and adapting writing around a team’s art, music, programming, and design, etc.
I can also do light pixel art work (links to the animation gifs below), mainly smaller assets/concept work rather than serving as a project’s primary artist.
I don’t currently have a huge portfolio available because many of my older manuscripts are stuck on a broken laptop I’m still trying to recover, but I have smaller excerpts/snippets I can share and I’m happy to write a short sample for a project.
Mostly looking for a realistically scoped hobby/indie project with passionate people who actually want to finish something together.
