Why aren't India treks more common among MBA programs?
I went to a T15 and we didn't have one even though Indians from India made up a solid 15% of the class. And talking to my MBA friends at other programs as well, its only a thing at a few. Usually, when MBA's go to India, its for one of their classmates weddings lol.
But why don't the India clubs at these schools plan treks to India? The club at my program was incompetent af so I didn't have expectations from them, but India could be a great luxury tourist destination. 5 star hotels are only about $100 a night there, and there are lots of upscale restaurants and bars too. India is a big player in tech, finance, pharma, and increasingly aerospace and clean energy as well, so its something an MBA would find interesting.
Most importantly, its one of the only opportunities to travel both conveniently, since the Indian classmates can handle luxury AC coaches for movement around the cities, while also having insiders who know the good places
