Please understand that Salah is a loser.

I think a lot of people here do not fully grasp what a loser Salah is, not just in western terms but by the standards of his own people. Unmarried in his early 30s, "caring for his father" (his wife should be doing that, culturally, but he doesn't have one), dabbling in a half-dozen little businesses that never pan out, his only property is "co-owned" with family (or more clearly: he gets a cut from the profits because he's blood, nothing more, and definitely does not run any of the family concerns as a owner or manager), and he's romance-scamming on international Tinder, bringing gigantically fat foreign screechy nightmares into his father's home.

Salah fucking sucks.

He was manchild-ing around Kuwait until Chantal got him kicked out, which he saw coming but was two weak-willed to put his foot down to stop. And his family had him MAKE Chantal sign that divorce document (or whatever it was) before she left Syria to exercise some degree of control over her insane behavior; no way he came up with that idea himself. It was probably the women in the family, who probably hate Salah only a tiny bit less than they hate Chantal.

And do we even need to discuss his disgusting fetishes? Like every weak, weird man, those fantasies of degrading women in the most bestial ways imaginable.

This is who Foodie is, theoretically, getting ready to surrender her cat, comfort, and access to lifesaving medical care for. Pathetic.
