I hate my height so much
I’m a 26-year-old woman and I’m 6'1. I’ve always been too tall. I was teased as a child, and it was even worse during my teenage years. On top of that, I was super skinny and ugly. I wasn't desirable at all.
It’s only been in the last few years that my appearance has improved: I’ve gained a bit of weight, I have long hair and nice skin, and my features have softened. I look more feminine. People tell me I’m pretty, but I don’t believe it. I feel like a monster standing next to girls who are 5'3". What man would choose me over them?
Men never hit on me. I’m getting older. Pretty 20-year-olds girls are going to crush my hopes even further. When I see an attractive tall guy, I don’t even allow myself to be attracted to him because I feel pathetic. I know he’d never want me.
My only plan right now is to gain more weight and curves, and try to meet men who are desperate enough on dating apps. I hate my height, and I hate men and their stupid standards that keep me from having the experiences others get to have. I don't know what to do.
