The church is perfect, the members aren’t.

I was listening to Kolby Redish (sp?) on mormon discussions podcast today. It’s the episode about the recent church legal win in Arizona.

Kolby said something that hit me when he said something the the effect of “instead of saying the church is perfect and the members aren’t, when will the members realize they’re actually pretty great and should demand more of the church?”

That’s not an exact quote, but it hit me hard. He’s spot on correct. The members don’t know they can ask for better and it’s fair of them to ask.
