Who should use Sentry?

I always thought that sentry was an item used to deward. I play on multiple accounts. Some are plat, and one of them I keep silver. When the season resets and I get put back to like Silver 1, I always play games where many many many people, new and old, use wards all the time.

It got me thinking. If there are 5 people on the map using wards. Heck, even just 3. Then who on the team should be using sentry?

I always thought it was the jungler who should use sentry. But after talking to the people in the community they all state that using wards on the jungle is better, because you can place 1 ward on blue, recall, then swap to sentry after. But if thats the case, why not just make the jungler start with sentry?

Too much in my games, I talk to people, and none of them know what sentry is, but almost ALL of them use wards. I think if we make jungle start with sentry (if u wanna ward blue, you can always switch it out) it will teach the playerbase that this is a thing that should happen.

And I get it. You wanna ward your blue that 1 time. And maybe sometimes you wanna ward fangtooth. But tbh, whenever I play jungle, im generally always aware of the enemy jungle location. Like they usually gank 1 of the lanes frequently so u can sorta keep track. And if he goes missing you can use ping system to ward fang. Or better yet, you can play around the objective when its nearing spawn time. And be ready for it pro actively.
