On my 3rd week my boss pulled me aside and said it was “make or break” time to see if “I was a fit for the company”. Did I make a mistake in quitting the same day?

I was really surprised. It’s a sales job and I was promised at least a month of training, and during the second week I had no training at all. Now he’s saying there’s been a massive misunderstanding, but those terms have meanings in plain English that are pretty inescapable right?

I’ve never been on a PiP in my life nor has anyone ever threatened to fire me before. I saw the writing on the wall and quit.
