Through out millennia and across the galaxy, the people have soon forgotten their origins and legacy, including the Huntsmen of old. Soon, as conflicts arise between galactic empires, mega corporations, and dust warbands, the innovation of warfare has birthed a new breed of mercenaries that will define humanity's new era.

📚Story Premise:

You had been subjected to Nexus Augmentation and survived its near fatal process to become a Huntsman; Doing so is to enter a long life of adventure, violence, espionage, and service for the highest bidders of the Astravol Galaxy. Whether you are an old veteran Hound or the newest generation Lynx, at some point of your career you have both survived and thrived thus far in this relentless trade. Your debts were paid, connections made, bigger scores were booked, or maybe a life long quest almost comes to its close.

Fate always takes its turn, however.

Wherever this long lived trade had taken you towards your zenith, catastrophe occurs. Almost reaching to your summit, an event had swept you off from your climb. In the end, no one was able to help, or truth be told in this unfeeling galaxy, no one ever did. This event had casted you, poor Huntsman, into the cryo pods of an Anchor House where MIA'd and discarded Huntsmen are recovered, reserialized, or restitched from the brink of death, only to be sold off once more. You have hit rock bottom. No matter if you were a successful mercenary, your fortune is gone and so many years have passed on without you. What you have left is your overwhelming debt to the Anchor House's upkeep, and a HNTR stripped down to its bare necessities. A new employer has now come to buy your remedial contract, consigning your debt. They now hold your Pedigree, your one ticket to freedom, as completing this one job will settle your debt and independence.

The year is now 6025 A.E. You are a new employee of C-CRIT, also known as Crow Custom Critical. Your job is to protect and crew the lone Deadwind as it traverses from one end of the Astravol Galaxy, to the other. This will be an odyssey that even you, as a Huntsman, would find ludicrous, but my oh my, the payoff must be good.
