My hamster drank the entire water filter thing in two days, is that normal?

My brother owns a small hamster and I've been taking care of it while my brother is on vacation, recently I noticed two different times where it's water bottle dropper thing has been completely empty, for context she normally doesn't drink that much water when my brother is home and I'm a bit worried.
