Almost 5 month old actively avoiding eye contact

y 4.5 month old will smile and laugh if his on his back.

Interacts in his baby bjorn and in his bed.

If your holding him he will look at anyone but you.

So if your in the couch and put him in your lap or your sitting in a chair and hold him up in front of you he looks left or right.

I know I shouldn’t do this but I put a pill up on my March baby’s group and more people said they have active eye contact baby’s than not.

The thing is he doesn’t avoid it but it’s very positional!

What’s with that?
