I haven’t been using c.ai for a while now because the quality of the characters has really gone downhill. They feel so limited and restricted, and I can’t talk about everything I want — even though I’m on the monthly plan. It’s genuinely frustrating, but what can you do? I can’t force a company to match my preferences.

Last Sunday I had a free day, so I tried something pretty interesting. I grabbed a relatively strong open-source AI model, removed all its restrictions, hosted it on my own machine, and ran it. And wow… it was completely unrestricted. You can talk about literally anything, and it handles it really well.

Then today I had this idea (which is why I’m posting this): what if I built a website and offered this kind of service to people who want it — but as a VIP option? Fast, unlimited, private, fully confidential, and with zero restrictions.

Do you think people would actually want something like this, or is this the kind of idea that just lands me in trouble?
