I'm 21M I want Suggestion to make friends in irl

I don't have such a social life from my teenage. I don't even have 1 real frnd to share my thoughts with both online and offline. But now it makes me insecure i don't know how to approach someone new and make friends. Also I didn't had any female friends from my childhood. It makes me insecure aswell I'm afraid of being a friend with Opposite gender tbh it looks like privilege for me to have a opposite gender friend and communicate with them.

Can you guys suggest me how to overcome this insecurities and make friends and tell me how to be easily approachable person aswell??
