Nier Replicant ruined or not?

So recently I finished automata and it was one of the if not THE greatest game I have ever played and wanted to jump right into replicant immediately after but unfortunately got spoiled…

I am very sensitive to spoilers and am literally considering not playing it and thinking that the game is literally ruined because of the spoilers. Can some of you please tell me how ruined it is for me and is it such a big deal when you look at the game to its fullest?

The things I got spoiled are: >!Someone dies at the end (very vague), You fight the shadowlord (dont know who he even is), Shades are human souls (I think) and that the protagonist basically destroys project gestaltand and dooms humans!<.

please I am so scared and so sad thinking the whole game is in absolute ruins because of these spoilers😭
