My first game is live! Sliding puzzle about Penguin got approved by Google!

It finally happened — Google approved my first game and it's live on the Play Store.

I've spent the last 10 years writing backend code. APIs, queues, integrations — nothing you can see or touch. This is the first thing I've built entirely on my own where the output is something a person actually plays. Solo project: design, levels, code, art direction, store listing, all of it.

Penguin Heist is a sliding puzzle. You swipe, the penguin slides across the ice until something stops it — a wall, a crate, a patch of snow. Collect every fish on the route, reach the igloo, and do it in few enough moves for three stars.

What's in it:

  • 300 hand-built levels across 20 chapters — no procedural generation, I designed and tested every route myself

  • Each chapter introduces one mechanic and then bends it: step-by-step snow, cracking ice that breaks on the second pass, arrows that redirect you mid-slide, seals asleep in the only free corridor. Later chapters combine them.

  • No timers, no lives, no energy. Undo a move, restart instantly, or take a hint when the board stops making sense.

  • 40+ hats and outfits, 60+ badges for clean runs and streaks

  • Fully offline, no account, no sign-up. Progress stays on your device.

I am curious about your opinion! Please leave a feedback!
