I felt like Day 6 I was finally turning a corner on this awful experience. It was the first full day I didn’t take a hydrocodone. My face swelling was noticeably less. Woke up Day 7 and as the day went on I felt like I had more pain but, it was different. The inside of my cheeks next to the extraction sites hurt the most right now with an ache in my bottom extraction sites.  Today, there was sensitivity when I drank water which I haven’t really had at all. I started worrying I had dry socket but, the pain isn’t shooting anywhere. It’s just a constant ache. No fever. No nasty taste in my mouth. Decided to see if I could open my mouth to take a look and thought I saw the clot. When I went to take a picture, it started bleeding! Am I fucked??? Is that dry socket???       
  
Mini vent: At 33, I’ve been blessed that I’ve never had a surgery. I cried the whole drive to my oral surgeons office. I woke up from anesthesia and immediately started crying out of gratitude for my care team. It was all women and they let me pick the music they would listen to during the surgery. I guess I kept saying “I’m just so thankful for women” over and over. This is physically the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through and I cannot believe how much of a baby I feel like I’m being. When it started bleeding, I felt a panic attack coming up but I chilled myself tf out. I consider myself a tough person but omg, this has put me on my ass.
