2026 survey: 43% of nurses say they may leave the bedside within a year — does that match what you're seeing?

The 2026 State of Nursing survey reports job satisfaction down to 47%, 48% saying their mental health got worse this year, and 27% physically assaulted on the job in the last 12 months. 43% say they're likely to leave bedside nursing within a year. I don't want to reduce this to a stat — for those of you still at the bedside, does this line up with your unit?
