Renting in Ancona

I hope to rent a room with an en suite for Italy in 2027/2028, but my only caution is that I keep seeing bedrooms on idealista without locks?! It’s obviously not smart to share a house with people you don’t know without your own door-lock, so do you think I should save up more money to rent a studio instead?
