Quick claw under trickroom

I just played a singles battle under the great ball tier where:

Sinistcha (foe) uses matcha gotcha against mimikyu breaking disguise while I swords dance (mimikyu is faster)

I use shadow claw while sinistcha is sashed so it survives at 1 hp and sets up trick room

I shadow sneak and my opponent sends out excadrill

excadrill mega evolves but due to trick room I outspeed and ohko with shadow claw crit

now for the interesting part

opponent sends out azumaril which is holding a quick claw and quick claw activates 4 times in a row while it uses waterfall.

is this a normal interaction or did I get super unlucky?
