I’m freaking out a bit.
Anyone else on maintenance?
I’ve been on Mounjaro for 2 years now.
The first 6 months, feels like the early days.
Not many people were on it then.
That’s when I lost all my weight.
I’m Audhd with other chronic conditions and run my own business, fairly sedentary.
Mounjaro seriously saved my life, not just the weight loss but the now known other benefits.
The scare I’ve had is body weakness.
I didn’t know at the time just how important protein was/is.
I had a day out yesterday, 8000 steps but lots of stair climbing.
Today I’m broken. I can barely walk.
I’m so ashamed that I can’t handle excursions!
I feel so weak.
I’m sat here googling local pools as that’s the only exercise I love. But for sensory reasons, it has to be warm.
I’m such a drama queen.
I’m now healthy looking, confident and successful.
But broken.
Tbf heat wave hasn’t helped life.
For the first year I was with Voy and they just increased my dose each month.
I was ill for 72 hours post jab and again took that as the trade off.
Nowadays I’m not ill/knocked out. Life is pretty normal.
As far as I’m concerned I’m on this for life and would love to know anyone else that’s fallen in this trap.
I hate strength training, no idea how to make that likeable.
I’m sporadic with the protein but diet is healthy.
