[I'm New] what should i do if there are no official tournaments in my country

Hello . I'm new to competitive play but i played alot of pokemon showdown and recently downloaded the champions and warned to try myself in official tournaments . The problem is i live in Azerbaijan (middle of nowhere) and everything fun was prohibited in our country by Jhon boringness in 1998 . What should i do to join official tournaments ? Thanks in advance
