2k26 lifespan??

This is my first ever 2k game and I only started a couple months ago. My question is will MyCareer and MyTeam modes be discontinued at some point (like no longer able to even log in since it's online only)? And with their new game around the corner, is this the final season and does it have an ending date?

With all the posts here recently, I probably won't be getting the next one.
