Looking to buy a 2BHK in Ahmedabad for my mom | Budget ₹60L

I’m 35F, currently working in a Big 4 in Bangalore. I was raised by my nani and mother with a lot of financial and personal struggle. My mom has always lived at my nani’s place and, honestly, has never really had a home that felt like her own.
I’ve finally reached a point where I’m financially independent and have built a decent net worth. One thing I really want to do now is buy a house for my mom where she can move in and finally have a place that’s truly hers. ❤️
The problem is that I’ve been out of touch with Ahmedabad real estate for years.
My budget is around ₹60-65L for a 2BHK. I’m looking for something that works both as:
🏠 A comfortable long-term home for my mom
📈 A reasonably good investment with potential for appreciation
🏗️ Preferably a reputed/reliable builder
🚗 Good connectivity and decent social infrastructure
I’m open to both established areas and upcoming areas, as long as the location makes sense for end use.
Ahmedabad Redditors, which areas and builders would you shortlist at this budget? Also, are there any areas/projects you would specifically avoid?
Would really appreciate recommendations from people who have actually lived in or invested in Ahmedabad. Thanks!
