Am I missing something? Are these cars worth it?

I’ve been looking around for cars and have come across some decent looking cars on Facebook marketplace. Mostly early 2010s. Most are priced around 3500$-5000$. Does that price make sense, what should I be looking at before purchasing to avoid paying more in the long run. This would be my first car.
