Teva → Brown & Burk escitalopram switch — anyone noticed a difference?

I’m on day 31 of escitalopram 10 mg and just switched manufacturers from Teva to Brown & Burk.

For the first 30 days on Teva, my side effects were generally mild. I had some improvement in anxiety, but I never experienced a particularly strong increase in energy or optimism.

Last night was my first dose of the Brown & Burk tablets. Interestingly, I woke up around 1:30 AM after only about 3 hours of sleep and, despite being awake, I felt like the medication effect was noticeably stronger than it had been with Teva. I felt significantly less anxious, more energized, and noticeably more optimistic than usual.

The flip side is that I’ve had a headache basically all day today. However, I’m also recovering from a flu/cough and slept very poorly, so I can't tell whether the headache is from the medication, the illness, or the lack of sleep.

The change in how the medication felt was noticeable enough that I’m curious whether anyone else has experienced a difference switching from Teva to Brown & Burk escitalopram.

Did Brown & Burk feel stronger/weaker/different for you? And did the difference persist after the first few days?
