Beginner here... What should I get for my first chaos space marine army?

I want to start getting into Warhammer40K with some friends and after reading a bit into it decided on chaos space marines as my first faction.
I liked the black legions looks and lore and will most likely build my army around that.
Online I read that the combat patrol isn't that good and so I decided on getting things I liked seperately and now need help to confirm if my choices are valid or complete bullshit.

Army plan: (pictures are mentioned sets in order)
I already ordered the raptors/ warp talons set (pls don't tell me they're shit) and plan on getting 10 legionaires, 5 havocs or chosen and one chaos lord (either the normal one or with the jump pack) for approximately 500 points.
I think I don't want to go over 500 points to first start getting into the hobby and also so I can have even battles with my friends, who decided on getting a combat patrol in that range.

Please let me know if this list makes sense or if theres something I could change for a better starting army.
You can also give advice on how to go on after the 500 point mark, if I want to expand later on.
