Important news for Students applying for a French long-stay student visa

France increases proof of funds for study visas by 43%. Students applying for a French "long-stay student visa" will now have to show they have at least €877.50 per month, up from the previous monthly threshold of €615.

“Applicants are advised to anticipate this change when planning their studies in France and preparing their administrative procedures”, said Campus France, commenting on the news.
