Bro help, I keep getting spammed with hacking attempts from a old alt account😭

Is this a recent thing or is it just me? I'm pretty sure it's a bit smashing random keys until it gets something right since I've been getting multiple emails from my 2-step-verification in the same minute. This has been going for 7 hours by now. I changed my alt account's password and temporarily deactivated the account.

Nothing on it either, so I don't know what the point of hacking it is. It's just super annoying having to see notifications every two seconds.

My second alt that shared a similar name for hacked recently too, as it showed me that it had been online 4 hours ago. However that is on me since I don't remember ever installing any security onto it, mostly since I was only using it to save up for a armour I couldn't get on my main account (which has ever since moved to my main)

The hacker didn't even take anything from my hacked alt either.

If this is a recent thing is there like, something I can do to make them stop spamming me or would I just have to wait and hope they somehow lose interest? Especially since changing passwords doesn't do anything, they just guess it after a while too.

Note: My main account has, luckily not gotten any scamming attempt. They do not share the same parental email, nor password. However the accounts are friended. Should I unfriend it just so they don't get their eyes on my main account in case they do somehow get in?
