When I started this project, I wasn't trying to build an "AI-generated app."

I just wanted to see how far I could push AI as my development partner.

**The project is a SaaS platform for youth soccer academies.**

Kids get a FIFA-style player card with ratings, XP, achievements, match history, leaderboards, and progression. Coaches manage everything from one dashboard.

I started with interviews with a real academy owner, turned those conversations into a PRD, researched competitors, designed the product, and then built the MVP almost entirely with AI.

Not in one prompt.

Hundreds of conversations.

Architecture discussions.

Refactoring.

Debugging.

Database design.

Auth.

UI.

Business logic.

Some days AI saved me hours.

Other days it confidently broke everything.

😄

The most interesting part wasn't generating code.

It was learning how to communicate with the model.

Writing better prompts.

Breaking problems into smaller tasks.

Creating handoff documents.

Using Git branches for isolated features.

Treating the AI more like another engineer than a code generator.

Now the MVP is being tested by a real football academy.

It's far from finished, but it's already being used by actual coaches and players.

I'm curious:

**For those of you building with Claude Code, Cursor, or other AI coding tools -what changed the most in your workflow?**

I'd love to steal a few ideas.

I created a gamified digital platform for youth SOCCER academies using Claude Code.
