Lost all passion for gaming, shows, and social media at 25—is this a quarter-life crisis?

Hey everyone, I’m 25 and posting on Reddit for the first time looking for some advice or shared experiences.

Lately, I feel like I’ve completely lost my spark/passion for things I used to enjoy:

Gaming: I used to play a lot, but now I only play eFootball occasionally with friends out of habit.

Shows & Movies: I can’t finish anything anymore. Even if I enjoy a series, I get stuck with 1 or 2 episodes left and just stop watching.

Social Media: Browsing Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok feels completely empty now.

Reading: I used to read manhua, but I quit about 3 weeks ago due to personal reasons. I tried switching to novels or different genres, but the same lack of interest persists.

What’s strange is that this isn’t just about having too much free time. Even when I was working exhausting 12-hour shifts away from home, my friends would spend their downtime on their phones playing games, while I barely touched mine for 24 hours. Honestly, I felt somewhat at peace during that time, but now I deeply miss feeling passionate about something.

I’m naturally a very social person, though I don’t always initiate conversations. I’ve also wondered if part of this is a deep desire for a genuine romantic relationship or meaningful real-life connections, rather than just digital entertainment.

Is this normal for someone in their mid-20s? Has anyone experienced this kind of burnout/apathy, and how did you get your spark back?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
